There’s so much content strategy goodness circulating around the web at the moment. What’s really great is that it’s covering all different aspects of the discipline. Whatever your interest, smart people are thinking hard about it and are being very generous with their thoughts.
Here are some of my favourites from the past week or so:
- Jonathan Kahn on web governance for A List Apart
Governance is a topic which I’m really interested in (after all I spent a long time managing sites for the government), and Jonathan’s take on the topic is thoughtful, inspiring, and quite pragmatic. - Kristina Halvorson’s interview with Joe Gollner on Content Talks
Listening to this podcast made me feel smarter. Structuring content so it’s intelligent and responsive is a hot discussion point at the moment. (Read Sara Wachter-Boettcher’s post on structure content too). Joe and Kristina talk about the challenges organisations face with both content creation and management – including the long-standing question on how do you maintain the integrity of your taxonomy. - Lara Swanson on A/B testing for A List Apart
A List Apart continues to shine with this post on A/B testing. Sure measuring content performance is very tactical, but not enough of us know how to do it well.
What have you come across lately that has taught you something new, or given you the motivation to find out more?
